Unfortunately, most spiritual indicators and data reveal that due to the passive relationship many men have with the church today, we are not producing disciple makers. This passive relationship is also leading men to reject spiritual leadership. Even more concerning is the fact that men are remaining unchurched. There are approximately 1,064,000 unchurched men in Southwest Florida. Is the Great Commission a flop?
Over the past twelve years, God has uniquely developed and prepared, through a broad based men’s leadership team in Southwest Florida, a ministry resource for YOUR CHURCH: A Journey in Disciple Making. This comprehensive plan for YOUR CHURCH has proven to be successful in overcoming this apathetic relationship between men and church. How? This tested process provides your men value oriented programs that give them what they need in the context of what they want.
In addition to overcoming church passivity, another dynamic outcome of this process is spiritual leadership: YOUR MEN will become equipped to disciple men of new faith in Jesus Christ.
The plan is based on three core elements:
• YOUR CHURCH - how to develop and sustain a vital ministry to men initiative;
• YOUR MEN - leadership training and a comprehensive equipping process;
• EQUIPPED TO GO - men confident and competent as disciple makers for Jesus Christ.
